What does the BPQ >code do that causes you to try and glue two pieces together like this? Two reasons: 1. A fully configured JNOS + BPQ system leaves me with 69K after boot. A fully configured JNOS with NETROM included leaves me with 58K after boot, I only have a 286 so I cannot do clever things with memory and every byte counts. There appears to be little or no performance impact to either LAN or Radio users. 2. BPQ code is in widespread use (at least within UK) so first time users see an interface they are familiar with. The welcome message then points them in the direction of the more sophisticated tcp/ip world, hopefully they will become converts. At least they will not be scared off at the first hurdle. They have recently released the DSP4 modem after they redesigned their DSP3 modem because some of the parts became very hard to get.
